Dear,

After completing ANM course and getting registered with a State Nurse Registration Council, one may pursue GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) course. On completion of GNM, one may go for B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic). This course will lead one to a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. You can even think of a job. Students, those complete their ANM Degree can work as a Community Health Worker, Home Nurse, Health Visitor, Basic Health Worker & Rural Health Worker. Starting salary of ANM in small Nursing homes and hospitals range from 10000 to 15000 rupees Per Month. Reputed hospitals in private sector provide starting salary in the range of of 20000 to 25000 rupees per month.

Hope this helps!
