SNAP :- Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is the MBA Entrance Exam for Admission to 16 Symbiosis Institutes in India. Every year around 1 lakh students from all disciplines including Engineering, Commerce, Humanities and even Law take SNAP Test to get into of the 2,500 MBA seats in Symbiosis colleges. Although the SNAP syllabus and exam pattern is very similar to CAT, the difficulty level of the question paper is generally moderate unlike CAT which is mostly of higher difficulty level. About 50,000 to 60,000 aspirants take SNAP exam as compared to CAT exam which receives over two lakh applications. SNAP is a postgraduate entrance examination conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) [SIU] for admissions into the 26 MBA programmes offered at its 15 institutes SNAP is certainly one of the major entrance tests that the students appear for and is worth considering irrespective of the fact whether you have a work experience or not. The test is for the colleges under the Symbioses university and is the gateway to 12 colleges under the same.
The Admit Card will be required in the counselling process. Each candidate must preserve their respective SNAP admit cards till the end of admission process. The admission authorities can ask for the admit card for authentication purpose.
In case the original admit card is lost, a new one will not be issued. A duplicate Admit Card will not be issued. It should be retained till the admission process is over. A request for a change of the test city will not be entertained once a candidate has paid SNAP Test registration fee.
