You haven't mentioned your Category or the State you belong to. This is important because States like Delhi, Bihar, Orissa, Rajasthan, UP and Maharashtra have higher cut offs than Tamilnadu, Assam, Goa, Karnataka, etc. But if you belong to Tamilnadu, Assam, Goa, Karnataka, AP, Meghalaya, Kerala, with an estimated score of 600 even if you belong to General Category, the chances of getting a seat in a Government Medical College are quite decent. For that matter, even for States like Bihar, Orissa, Rajasthan, Gujarat, UP, MP and Telangana, with a score of 600, your chances are bright. But in Delhi the chances are easy only if you belong to Reserved Categories because Delhi has higher cut offs. And cut offs change every year.
