You have to wait as long as you take to clear that backlog OF your 4 semester Even if you clear the MET in future and get an admission, for MCA they'll cancel your admission if the backlog isn't cleared.

Assume if you clear your entrance exam they will give you some time to proof your eligibility if you proof it before the deadline that they give you usually it is two months from the admission date.
