CO-CURRICULAR:

- Foundation program is a unique 5 week program for the 1st year undergrads creativity, leadership, communication, ethics, social awareness and physical fitness.
- Active Research park has been set up where world renowned industry associates, research scholars and academic thought leaders contribute towards enhancing the intellectual life of students.
- Growth is promoted in the form of conferences and workshops with nearly 40% overseas experiences, programs like Earn While You Learn , student managed technology conclave Amalthea , etc.
EXTRA-CURRICULAR:
- Explorer Fellowship is a unique 6 week annual summer initiative for students to discover India's cultural diversity by traveling across the country on a limited budget.
- Along with different academic, cultural and sports fests like Jashn, Blithchron, Winter Carnation, Ignite and Hallabol , numerous celebrations such as Teachers' day, Eureka, MuSTY, Udaan and various festivals add color to the life on campus.
OTHER:
- IITGN encourages students to be involved members of the community. It explores ways to contribute to the local community through formal and informal initiatives, outreach activities (NEEV) and educational engagement (NYASA).
- The Institute has a very strong student-body which actively participates in making crucial decisions about the campus. Th student body has its fair share in making IITGN the first GREEN campus and first EAT-RIGHT campus in India.
- The Institute provides students with one of the most diverse and healthy (+F) food menus throughout the country . The mess, canteens, cafeterias and other such food points are strictly regulated as per FSSAI norms.
- IITGN has the largest bucket of scholarships and financial aid s for its students. It also provides generous grants for pursuing international internships with renowned universities across the globe.
- It has one of the most friendly and convenient hostel systems in India complete with centralized air-conditioning and well-furnished student lounge (with the latest addition of poker to it). There is no gender biasness or any kind of restriction and boys and girls freely interact with one another in the hostel area.
