See, basically 12th standard is also called as 10+2. If a student studying in class 12th , they we can also called as the student studying in 10+2 .

10+2 refers to the year of Schooling which is required post grade 10, adopted by high school , Generally 10+2 gradually replacing the conventional mode of Intermediate education, being the Intermediate of Science, Intermediate of Commerce , Intermediate of Arts/ Humanities .

Intermediate or 12th class plays a very crucial role , because 12th standered marks is required for applying in any Bachelors Degree/ Undergraduate Programs.

Another Name of 12th standard , Intermediate,   10+2, and also we use the word Higher secondary Education etc.

10+2 means your class 12th schooling, after completion of class 10 when you take admission into any school or colleges in any of the streams such as Science, Arts, Commerce you complete two years course.

so as a whole since you completed class 10th and after that complete your class 12th in 2 years so together it is denoted by 10+2.

10+2 level is the course studied after passing in class 10th. In simple terms it is class 11th and class 12th. In states like Telangana and Andhra Pradesh 10+2 level study is called as Intermediate, in states like Maharashtra it is called as High School Certificate (HSC) examination, in Karnataka it is called as Pre University. Although 10+2 level education has different names the level of study is same. A candidate has to complete 10+2 level study in order to be eligible to apply/study under graduate or Bachelor's Degree. You will have different streams to choose in 10+2 level such as Science stream, Arts Stream and Commerce stream. Depending on your interest and your ambition you need to select a stream in 10+2 level. Post 10+2 you will be eligible to apply for Bachelor's Degree.
