A Family doctor is a doctor which is preferred by a family for the treatment of the members. So there are no other qualifications such as Family Doctor. If you want to be a doctor then you need to do Your MBBS. This is the minimum or the basic medical course and after that you become Doctor. Now if you want to be a specialist in Medicine or Surgery then you have to do the Masters after that like MD, MS, MCh etc.
