A candidate from the general category who is taking the entrance exam must obtain at least 50% of the marks required. However, reserved-category candidates are exempt from the minimum-marks requirement. For example, for OBC/CW/PwD category candidates, a minimum of 45 percent is required, while for SC/ST category candidates, a minimum of 40 percent is required.
