Your career scope and prospects right after a MBA are directly proportional to the quality of Institute you take admission into.

In case you pursue MBA from some of the Top Management Institutes like IIMs, IITs, MDI Gurgaon, SPJIMR, NMIMS, JBIMS, FMS DELHI, XLRI, XIMB,IMT Ghaziabad and many others, you can expect a minimum package anywhere around 15-20 LPA after graduation, with the number exceeding to 25-30+ LPA if you pursue it from Top IIMs or XLRI.

However, if you pursue Management from some of the Deemed Universities, Private Universities and other average management institutes you can still expect a package anywhere between 5-10 LPA. Management positions demand greater responsibility in Work, hence higher remuneration.

However, when pursuing a full time MBA degree, you should always be aware of the ROI or Return or Investment as it a very important factor. At Top IIMs, you invest around 20 lakhs in fee, but get annual returns and packages exceeding 30 lakhs on postgraduation. Whereas in certain private institutes you invest around 10 lakhs, and are hardly able to fetch a 5 lakh job somehow after graduation, which makes the return on investment factor sink.
