Acid rain is a term that includes any sort or precipitation that contains Sulfuric acid or nitric acid in it

The precipitation is not necessarily wet or liquid it can come in the form of dust ,gasses,fog and rain.

Effect of acid rain

It kills the growth of trees

It can cause skin irritation

It can make soil and water bodies unhabitable

It changes the PH value from 5 to 6.5 that is acidic for nature
