Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing well

Acid :- An acid  is any hydrogen-containing substance that is capable of donating a proton (hydrogen ion) to another substance. A base is a molecule or ion able to accept a hydrogen ion from an  acid . Acidic  substances are usually identified by their sour taste.

I think your next question is what if effect of acid in human body. So I am providing the answer.

Effect of acid in Human body :- An acidic pH may result in weight problems such as diabetes and obesity. When our bodyis too acidic, we suffer from a condition known as Insulin Sensitivity. This forces excessive insulin to be produced. As a result, the body is flooded with so much insulin that it diligently converts every calorie into fat.

Hope this helps you

All the best for your future
