Hello,

The advantages of subjective questions are-

  • Calculates candidate's understanding of the subject and its concepts.
  • Understand the thinking and problem solving capacity of the candidate.
  • Evaluate how each candidate attempt the same question and select the one with the best approach.

Advantages of MCQ questions

  • Quick and easy to answer.
  • You can probably ask more questions.
  • Mobile friendly.
  • Simple to analyse.
  • They can be time-consuming to create.

Thank you.

See first both the paper have there own difficulties. Now in case of Subjective the main advantage is that the student gets partial markings where as for the MCQ questions there is no partial marking, either its correct or incorrect. Apart from this in MCQ paper there are negative markings (for most of the cases) where as in Subjective paper, there are also no negative markings available.

Apart from this there are no much of advantages or disadvantages. The thing you should keep in mind is that each of the question types have there own kind of difficulties & in order to succeed you have to chose your study method wisely.

I hope this answer provides you some insight. Wish you a great eve!
