Hello,
Aeronautical maintenance engineers install, maintain and repair aircraft engines; airframes; airframe systems; electrical, instrument and radio systems; and aircraft structures and surface finishes.
To become an aircraft maintenance engineer you usually have to complete an apprenticeship or traineeship. Entry requirements may vary, but employers generally require Year 10. You can also become an aircraft maintenance engineer by completing a VET qualification in aeroskills. As subjects and prerequisites can vary between institutions, you should contact your chosen institution for further information.
If you want to pursue this course from India, then it may not be a good choice. The major drawback of this course is that it is only a certification course and not a graduation. Thus, for any reason if you cannot get any opportunity in this stream, you will find yourself in the midst of nowhere. The condition of Aviation sector in India is not healthy and no colleges will provide you best placements.
