Greetings!

Here are all the guidelines you should keep in mind while applying for NEET:

Age: The minimum age limit for all candidates is 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission. The maximum age limit for NEET is 25 years for general candidates and 30 years for reserved candidates.

Subjects: You must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, any other elective subject with English.

Score in the 12th or equivalent examination: As a general category candidate, you require a minimum aggregate score of 50% in your 10+2 or equivalent examination. As an OBC, SC or ST candidate, you require a minimum aggregate score of 40%. As a SC-PH, ST-PH or OBC-PH candidate, you require a minimum aggregate score of 40%. As a PH, PwD or Gen-PH candidate, you require a minimum aggregate score of 45%.

Number of attempts: You can attempt the exam as many times as you want until the age of 25.

As per the latest NEET 2019 eligibility criteria, the upper age limit candidates i.e. the candidates with age 25 or more are eligible to apply and take NEET 2019. Candidates can check below the article for more details. The National Testing Agency (NTA), the regulatory body for NEET 2019 have determined the NEET eligibility criteria for the first time.





The upper age limit criteria has been removed by the Supreme Court, for the time being, which allows candidates to appear for the exam. The final decision of the Supreme Court is still pending and the next hearing is scheduled for the month of January. As per the directive of the Supreme Court, the National Testing Agency had extended the last date of NEET form submission to December 7, 2018 and candidates could pay the fees till December 8, 2018.





Qualifying Exam





10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subject in both Classes 11 and 12 from a recognized board.







Qualifying Marks





UR - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45% (minimum aggregate marks only for PCB subjects)





Maximum Attempts



No limit on the permitted number of attempts.





Minimum Age Requirement



17 years as on December 31, 2019.

Hello applicant,

The age criteria for NEET exam is student must complete an age of 17 years at the time of admission.


Eligibility criteria for MBBS exam is the student must complete 17 years of age with 60+ marks in 10+2 with subjects physics, chemistry,biology and english.
