AIPHOBC stands for All India Physically Handicapped Reservation for OBC in 15% All India Quota. There is 27% reservation for Candidates belonging to OBC Category and then there is 3% horizontal reservation for Candidates with Disabilities for disabilities upto 70%. Candidates who belong to Creamy Layer of OBC do not qualify for OBC reservation. Only Candidates belonging to OBC-NCL are eligible for this 27% reservation. This reservation is only applicable for the Categories listed in the Central OBC list. You can check that at: http://www.ncbc.nic.in/user_panel/centralliststateview.aspx. We remember that you belong to Maharashtra and so please click on the State of Maharashtra and press Ctrl and F buttons of your device simultaneously to search for the Community you belong to. If it is present there, then your Community is listed in the Central OBC list and then if you also fall under NCL Category, you can claim OBC-NCL-PWD benefits if applicable. And the implementation of reservations for OBC will be without any changes in the seats made available for General Category.
