AME or Aviation Medical Examiners are licensed medical physician (either MD or DO ). These officers are recruited by the Civil Aviation department of a country. The responsibility of this officers are to check the health standards of the civil pilots and to ensure that the pilot is physically fit to take a journey and join the duty. They are routine check up physician for the Civil Pilots.
