Hello,
An ecosystem is a community of living organisms, including plants, animals, and microorganisms, interacting with each other and their physical environment. It is a web of interconnectedness in nature.
There are two main importance of ecosystems:
1) Biodiversity: Ecosystems support a wide variety of species, from plants to animals, creating a diverse and balanced environment which js crucial for the stability of ecosystems.
2) Water Regulation: Ecosystems play a crucial role in regulating water flow, reducing the risk of floods and droughts.
I hope this helps,
Thank you
Hello Aspirant,
There are two parts to every ecosystem: biotic and abiotic components. All living things in an ecology are referred to as biotic components, whereas non-living things are referred to as abiotically. The equilibrium of the environment is preserved by these biotic and abiotic interactions.
