Hi Aspirant,
Both Bachelor of Computer Applications(BCA) and Bachelor of Science(BSc) are good courses to pursue for an undergraduate. BSc is more like a concept-oriented course while BCA is more of an application oriented course. BCA is favorable for getting jobs in the corporate sector while BSc is more inclined towards making careers in the academic and disciplinary research. So if you have more interest towards getting corporate jobs easily in the field of technology you can go for BCA but if you have more interest in research and academic related jobs in the field of technology you can go for BSc.

BCA and BSc both are good courses but are made for different purpose. BSc is a course in Science which deals with the detailed knowledge of sciences such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economics, Mathematics etc. So its more of an academic subject although after Post graduation or MSc many students opt for Jobs such as teaching, Lecturship and some shift the professions to Banking and other companies. BCA is a course which is more of a professional course and it avails you to learn for Computer Application and makes you learn about coding, data management etc. But also for BCA, an MCA is required to have more opportunities. Thus if you want to go for jobs then I would say MCA will be a better option as its intended for jobs. But if you want to go for teaching career/research career/R&D scientist etc then you should opt for BSc.
