Hi Deo,

Thanks for contacting careers360,

UPES is very famous for its petroleum courses. So, I would suggest you B.Tech Applied Petroleum Engineering with Specialization in Upstream. It trains students in Petroleum Engineering and focuses primarily on exploration and production of Oil & Gas. You will gain a thorough knowledge of all major technical aspects in relation to the entire hydrocarbon value-chain and the strategic techno-commercial issues relevant to the domain.

Placements 2017 at UPES started at a high note with around 500 students getting offers from top-notch companies like-Accenture, IBM, Dell R&D, Nestle, L&T Infotech, Maruti, Philips Carbon Black, Reliance Industries, Tata Technologies, GATI KWE etc. to name a few.

The university’s objective is to develop competent technocrats, professionals, and managers who are ready to join the core industries.

Good Luck!
