Hi, it mainly depends on what kind of portfolio and career you want to build towards. The main focus of the B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering Programs is to equip the student with the theoretical knowledge needed to innovate technology and also invent some new technical gadgets, while B. Tech (Bachelor of Technology programs are usually application and skill-based courses. Their prime focus is on making the student understand the technology behind the working of gadgets and modify or enhance their quality of working.
So if you want to focus on knowledge oriented courses and theoretical side of the curriculum, then BE is better, and if you want a skill oriented and practical side of the curriculum, then BTech is better. There's not too much difference in scope of both, as nowadays both are mostly similar in colleges.
