Hello Shivam Gupta,

B.Arch and B.Tech will bring in your career and future.

B.Arch:

First of all B.Arch is a 5yrs course.Only IITs and very few NITs offer campus placement. In IIT's the placement percentage is atleast 75%, And in NITs it is as low as 10% to 30%. There is no campus placements for b.arch students in many of the state colleges. But no problem, Did you ever heard that doctors getting placed and a lawyer getting a high package? No, we don't hear because the reason is Architecture is just like medicine and law it is a course where the course teaches us how to work independantly and become an independent professional Architect. There is huge scope for off campus placements, Architects will never be unemployed.Initial salary might be low but no problem it will incraese. May be lower than 30k but with time it increases upto 60k.

Now coming to higher studies after Architecture, there is a huge scope, there are many courses related to planning and construction management and it also helps us to land up with jobs offering higher packages.Architecture profession will never ever satisfy us with the money.

B.Tech:

If we talk about btech then it is a 4 year course which leads to become an engineer with the technical knowledge . The placements in this particular area are very high nowadays even in the private engineering colleges also there are the placements of minimum 90% . The most placed branches are CSE and ECE now a days but trends keep changing but no doubt it has a great placement opportunities and if you are studying in an IIT or NIT then it is best.

.

.

NOTE: T here are less amount of architectures than engineer and there could be a demand in future but if you have interest in architect then you should go with that only u will get placed by your knowledge and skills.

.

I’ll give you an overall picture of what’s B.Arch or B.Tech in CSE/ECE. B.Arch and B.Tech in CSE/ECE are subjects or disciplines that cannot be compared. They are two different and parallel branches with varied interests.

All the Best, Choose Your Passion and Excel.

B.Arch is better than B.Tech.

Job opportunity is more in architecture as more and more real estate and infrastructure projects got boosted. Gulf countries are more prominent olace for architecture jobs.

B.Tech is quite common nowadays. Every here and there you will get B.Tech completed person but there are less B.Arch students in market.

Hii Shivam,

Bachelor of Technology and Bachelor of Architecture are two demanded graduation courses. Compared to both the courses B.Tech course is better in many aspects. The opportunities and the Scope in B.tech course are high . You will have more specializations in B.tech where as you won't find enough Specializations. In the present trend , B.tech graduates have handful opportunities in their career. So it is better to take B.tech course rather than B.Arch course.
