GATE 2025: Syllabus | Sample Papers
Hi aspirant
GATE: It depends upon the college i.e. if it is private or government. In case of government the total of 2 year expense will be anywhere around 50k-80k(excluding hostel). However, for private colleges it can range from 160k to 200k(excluding hostel).
CAT: The tuition fees will be anywhere from 12 lakhs to 20 lakhs. However, one may get education loan to fund it.
GRE: GRE is given by those who wants to peruse either Management or Master of Science at foreign universities. The cost for living is significantly higher there than India. It will cost anywhere from 35,000$ to 45,000$ a year depending upon the universities. Most complete their MS or Management degrees in two years. However, some complete it in 1 year and 6 months. Getting a summer internship could lower the cost significantly(10,000$ is offered for a typical summer internship). Also, applying for Teaching Assistantship or Research Assistantship can lower the expenses to as much as 50% for the two year course.
