• No, there is no change in BITSAT 2018 exam pattern.
• BITSAT 2018 will be conducted through Online Mode (Computer Based Exam).

• The question paper will comprise of 150 objective-type questions (Multiple Choice Questions).
• Each correct answer fetches three marks, while one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
• The candidates may choose to skip a question, but the computer will not allow the candidates to choose more than one option as the correct answer.

The exam pattern of BITSAT is prescribed by the authorities for all the candidates. There will be total 150 questions in the exam having 4 sections – Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency, Logical Reasoning and Mathematics. Physics and Chemistry will have 40 questions each, English Proficiency will have 15 questions, Logical Reasoning will have 10 questions and Mathematics will have 45 questions. You will have 3 hours to answer these objective type questions, which means you will have four possible answers for every question, out of which one would be correct.

This exam pattern is for last year, so you will know the changes once the authorities announce it for this year.

Till now there has been no official notification about the change in the exam pattern of BITSAT.

There will be four sections from which 150 questions will be asked. You will have to answer 40 questions from Physics, 40 from Chemistry and another 45 questions from Mathematics. In the English proficiency section there will be 15 questions and 10 questions will be asked from logical reason.

The exam will be conducted in online mode. You will be required to complete the exam in three hours. You can navigate from one section to another. For every question, there will be four answers. Candidates will have to select one correct answer.

If you will answer incorrectly, then one mark will be deducted. For every correct answer , candidates will get three marks. If you successfully answer all the 150 questions without skipping in the stipulated three hours, then in that case you will get an opportunity to answer 12 additional questions. These 12 questions will be from Physics, Chemistry and Maths with four questions each from every subject.

Candidates must remember that they will not get an opportunity to rectify the answers of any of the 150 questions which they have already answered.

Till now there is no such change in BITSAT exam pattern officially.

Mathematics- 45

For each correct answer student will get 3 marks and -1 for wrong answer.

If you are able to answer all 150 questions within the given 3 hours then you can attempt an additional 12 questions but you will not be able to make any changes in the 150 questions which you have attempted earlier.
