Information  Technology is an engineering division, which concentrates on the study of utilizing computers and telecommunications in order to control, gather, store and circulate information . Both software and hardware sectors are parts of Information Technology.

BTech information technology is a  4 year undergraduate degree course
BTech is a course and information technology is basically the specialisation or branch in which you complete this course.
This course provide student theoretical as well as technical knowledge of the subjects the major difference between the information technology and the computer science engineering is that information technology basically focus on the designing, installing and management of the computing technology while Computer Science and Engineering basically focus on to the programming of mathematical algorithms.
