What is CAF in Sams odisha. how can I get admission in Ravenshaw university ug course
Hello Aspirant,
SAMS stands for Students Academic Management System. It has two units e-Admission & e-Administration. SAMS currently endorses online admission for +2, +3, PG, SCERT, and Govt. ITIs, Sports education, PDIT and Diploma in Polytechnic. It is an online scheme used to govern the admission, administration, enrollment, form fill-up etc. of the Higher Secondary Schools of the Odisha state.
e-Admission is online admission carried out in all +2, +3, PG, SCERT, Sports education, PDIT, Diploma in Polytechnic and Government ITIs of Odisha.
CAF is the common application form. Through this one application, you can submit your choices of colleges and the subject you want to apply to that college. You have to fill in at least 5 options and the maximum number of choices is 10. The choices must be in descending order I.e., the highest priority should be on top. You have to apply online through the CAF obey the policies of the CP, take photocopies of the HSS/College/Institute Copy & Applicant Copy and submit them at your chosen college during the time of admission along with the photocopies of the documents as illustrated in the CP/Intimation letter. To get admission to any college, you have to fill the application form with this college on top priority along with the subject you are interested in. Then after the publishing of cut-offs, if your 10+2 marks are equivalent to or more than the cut off you will be selected. If this does not happen in the first round of selection and you get admission to a college of a lower priority then better to get admission in that college and then select the 'slide up' option. So, if during the second selection your score matches the cur off then you will be selected.
Ravenshaw admits students not through SAMS but has their selection process based on merit only. A merit list is published based upon the score of students in the 10+2 exam. Admission happens based on that list.
Aspirants wanting admission into various UG courses of the University will have to submit an online application accessible on the Ravenshaw University website ' www. Ravenshaw University.ac.in’.
All aspirants must have a credible email ID before applying for admission into UG courses. He/she must keep prepared scanned/electronic copies of a passport size photograph, certificates and mark sheets of all qualifying examinations (10th and 12th), category certificates, weightage claimed and signature before completing the online application form. The application fee for all UG courses is INR 500/- (to be spent online at the moment of application).
