what is capacitor?and how does it useful
Hello Mahammad,
Capacitor is a two terminal electrical component used to store the energy electrostatistically in an electric field. The forms of practical capacitors vary widely, it is originally known as condenser.
They are widely used as parts of electrical circuits in many common electrical devices.
Uses of Capacitor-
- They are used for energy storage, individual capacitors generally do not hold large amount of energy. For eg, large capacitors are included in car audio systems to extra power to amplifier whenever required.
- One of the most common and important use is for air conditioning. Capacitors allow AC signals to pass but block DC signals when they are charged.
- The capacitors are also used for signal processing.
I hope it helps
Thank you
A capacitor is a device that stores electrical energy in an electric field. It is a passive electronic component with two terminals.
-
It is commonly used for storing electrical charge i.e energy storage .
-
It is a basic component of electronics and have a host of various applications .
-
It is also used for power conditioning,
-
It is used to separate the DC and AC components of signals as well because they allow to pass AC signals but block DC signals.
Thankyou
