CAT is The Common Admission Test(CAT) is a computrer based exam held every year in India.This exam is started by The Indian Institutes Of Management(IIMs).Every year one of the IIM conduct this exam to select students for their business administration programs.The last CAT 2018 was conducted by IIM calcutta.Graduate from various stream can appear for this exam who wants to do MBA. It has 3 section Verbal ability and reading comprehension(VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning(DILR) and Quantitative ability (QA).Each section has 32-34 questions and one hour each section to solve those questions.

Eligibility for CAT 2019:- A candidate should have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks. The candidate belonging to Schedule caste(sc), Schedule tribe(ST) and differently Abled categories need to have at least 45% marks. A final year student can also appear for the exam.

Common Admission Test, CAT, is conducted by Indian institute of Management every year for their management courses.
CAT is an online based entrance exam for IIMs as well as some other colleges like FMS, MDI, IMT etc.
The following is the eligibility criteria for CAT
Candidates who are in the final year of graduation, they would be eligible to apply for CAT 2019
Candidates who have completed their graduation and are waiting for the result to be announced,, they would be eligible to apply for CAT 2019.However, according to CAT eligibility criteria 2019 such candidates would be offered provisional admission. The admission of the candidates will be confirmed only after they provide a certificate from the registrar or principal of the institution or university mentioning that the aforesaid candidate has met all the necessary requirements to obtain the bachelor’s degree.
Candidates belonging to the general category must score at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA. They must have completed their graduation by an Act of the Parliament or State legislature in India or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.
Those candidates will also be eligible to appear for CAT 2019 who possess an equivalent qualification that has been accorded recognition by Ministry of Human Resource Development.
Candidates who belong to Scheduled Tribe (ST), Schedule Caste and persons with disability must score at least 45 % marks in their graduation to be eligible to appear in CAT 2019.
