Hello,
.
To understand chemical equilibrium let us understand each of the definition.
.
chemical=  An artificial thing prepared for experiment or some other work.
Equilibrium= A state in which forces/influences are balanced.
.
To make understand in simple words, A chemical equilibrium is the point at which concentration of reactants and products doesn't change. It will be seen as the reaction has been stopped but the inner truth is rates of forward and reverse auctions are Equal so they both are been created at the same same.
.
If you are really a  chemistry student then you may find this definition useful,
"When the concentration of reactants and products are constant , there ratio doesn't vary"
.
Try to refer an example video of chemical equilibrium from YouTube. You will clearly understand. And you can write in your own words.
