Commerce as a stream is related to the business activities of purchase and sale of goods as a producer and consumer respectively. Commerce mainly consists of Business Studies, Accountancy and Economics. Commerce is a really good option if you want to join the corporate world. Commerce is also a future proof stream as people will always be required for finance, HR, Marketing and PR.

If you are opting for Commerce in class 11th, then the basic subjects you will be taught are:

1. Accountancy

2. Business Studies

3. Economics

4. English

And the 5th subject will be your choice. Usually Schools provide Maths, Informatics Practices and Physical Education. But then you can opt as per the subjects given by your school. I would suggest go with the the combination of Maths, since it will be useful for you in future ahead.

The main subjects which are given in this are Business studies, Economics , accountancy,and English...and then you have one choice between two subjects...These subjects may vary but one of the subject is Mathematics.
