what is computer organization? explain briefly
The computer organization deals with the structure and behavior of digital computers. The main objective of this course is to understand the general basic structure of computer hardware, including peripheral devices.
Despite the variety and pace in the field of computer science, certain fundamental concepts are applied consistently at all times. The application of these concepts depends on the current state of technology and the price / performance objectives of the designer. The objective of the course is to provide a comprehensive discussion of the fundamentals of computer organization and architecture and relate them to contemporary design issues.
A computer system is like any other system, it consists of a set of interrelated components. The system is best characterized in terms of structure, the way they are interconnected, and the function and operation of individual components. Each main component can be described in more detail by breaking it down into its main sub-components and describing its structure and function.

Hello aspirant,
It’s about the design of different hardware computer parts and how they come together to form a computer system. Typically this type of class is split into 2 major parts: CPU design and cache/memory design.
Computer organization is the knowing, What the functional components of a computer are, how they work and how their performance is measured and optimized.
- Computer Organization refers to the level of abstraction above the digital logic level, but below the operating system level.
- At this level, the major components are functional units or subsystems that correspond to specific pieces of hardware built from the lower level building blocks described in the previous module.
- A closely related term, computer architecture , emphasizes the engineering decisions and tradeoffs that must be made in order to produce a "good" design. The computer architect answers questions like...
-
- How many registers should there be?
- What machine instructions should there be?
- How should the cache be organized?
- What hardware support should there be for virtual memory
Hope this helps you

Hello there,
computer organisation is a field which explains about structure and behaviour of digital computers .its main objective is to make us understand the over all computer hardware structure and all its peripheral devices .it tells us how all the units in the system are arranged and interconnected to eachother.
Thank you !
