Costing course is a course which involves the study of cost, budget and profitability etc. In India the course is regulated by The Institute of Cost Accountants of India . The entry level course is called foundation exams. Later the course is divided into 4 groups, 2 each in Intermediate and final. The Exams are held two times in a year i.e. in June and December.

Costing course , basically known as Cost Accountancy , The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) formerly known as ICWAI (Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India) is institution of India which offers this course.
This course comprises of three stages, i.e. CMA Foundation, CMA Intermediate and CMA Final. You can pursue this course through correspondence or through online from an accredited university.
At present ICWA course has been renamed to CMA which stands for Cost Management Accounting. It has 3 different levels and all have different eligibility criteria . You can check the detailed criteria on our site :
