What is counselling..like after giving entrance exams like JEE MAINS. What happens in counselling. Can't we get admission without counselling. I want to know about counselling like what is the procedure and else.

Dear student,
If you crack jee mains, then you will be eligible for jee advanced and once jee advanced is over then the counselling procedure conducted by josaa starts for students who qualified jee mains/jee advanced or both. In the counselling procedure, you are given a list of colleges for which you are eligible to apply, then you have to select few and arrange them based in your priority, then after that the result of each round is announced, which tells you whether you got any seat or not out of the one you applied for. If you didn't get any you can participate in other rounds. If you got one you can accept that or opt for better seats in further rounds. At last either you accept a seat or don't, based on that you proceed for document verification, pay the fees of the college and get admitted in that college. You cannot get admission in any iit/nit/iiit/gfti without josaa counselling.
