What is csab counseilling??....

CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) counselling , which will be conducted by NIT Tiruchirappali is for the admission of JEE qualified candidates to the NITs,IIITs & CFITs. Basically the CSAB counselling is done to fill up the vacant seats. CSAB counselling will start after the conclusion of JoSAA 2019. This counselling is for the institutes that fall under the category of North Eastern States and Union Teritories , Self Financed Technical Institutes and Supernumerary seats for Union Teritories.
Eligibility Criteria for CSAB counselling -
- Candidate must have qualified JEE Main paper 1.
- They should have passed their class XII with aggregrate marks of minimum 45%(For general category) or 40% (For SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD)
- They must have obtained qualifying marks in their respective class XII board subjects namely Physics,Mathematics,Chemistry/Biology/Technical vocational subject , anyone language and any other subject.
For B.Arch or B.Plan admissios -
- Candidates should have valid rank is JEE Main paper 2.
- They should have mathematics in class XII.
- Must have scored 50% aggregrate marks in 5 subjects including mathematics.
- Need to have minimum passing marks in each subject.

Hello aspirant, greetings to you.While admissions to various IITs are made through Joint Admission Board ( JAB), CSAB or Center Seat Allocation Board is responsible for intakes of various NITs, IIITs and GFITs. The online registration for CSAB will begin in the third week of June and ends in the first week of July followed by filling of choices and seat allotment rounds.
