It is not CSC it is CSE which means computer science engineering.It is the top preferred branch for Engineering due to its decent placement in almost all colleges across India.It is one of the most popular engineering branch and almost all engineering college make this branch available for study.It deals with coding for computer to understand,implementing artificial intelligence for better future of mankind and it also deals with parts of computer and its function.If you are interested in new technologies including coding you should take up the subject.

So btech in Computer science is basically a 4 year course exploring hardware and sofwares parts of computers. Theory along with practicals are part of the curicculum.
