University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) is ranked among the top medical colleges of India. It is situated in Delhi and is affiliated with the popular University of Delhi (DU). It is a government medical college which was founded in 1971 by the Health Minister. UCMS, New Delhi is approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI).  It offers various UG, PG, Paramedical and Diploma courses. Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) Hospital is the teaching hospital associated with UCMS, New Delhi. It was the first college to start a Medical Humanities Group in India.

MBBS course time duration is 4 ½ years. The fee structure come as Rs. 4,610/- per year. Till a year ago, DU offered 5% amount to five of the seven sections — guard faculty killed or handicapped in real life, the individuals who kicked the bucket in harmony time with death inferable from military assistance, those debilitated in harmony time during military help, and beneficiaries of heroism grants.
