Automobile engineering is a sub branch of mechanical engineering. Mechanical engineering is the father branch of automobile engineering.
There are some basic difference between automobile engineering and mechanical engineering are listed below-
1. Mechanical engineering is a division of engineering that deals with the mechanics of physics and science to analyze, manufacture and design mechanical systems.
But automobile engineering specially deals with the construction and design of automobiles.
2. In mechanical engineering you will learn every mechanical object or machines out there in the world.
In automobile engineering you will learn automobile IC engines, vehicle dynamics , vehicle kinematics, etc.
But literally both are same , no big difference.
Mechanical engineering is a branch where you deal with all the machines and learn their basics and working.
