What is difference between B.E and B.Tech . Which is better?
B.E (bachelor of engineering)
- It is considered as knowledge-oriented course.
- More emphasis is laid on theory and focuses on strong fundamentals.
- Being more knowledge oriented, course curriculum is updated but not as frequent as the other.
- Generally, universities offering other degrees(like science, arts, education etc) along with engineering named their engineering degree as B.E.
- Some of the popular colleges are NSIT,BITS Pilani, Anna university chennai etc.
B.tech(Bachelor of technology)
- It is considered as skill-oriented course.
- More emphasis is laid on practical applications rather than theoretical aspects.
- Being technology oriented, course curriculum is considered as more upto date.
- Internships and industrial visits are a mandatory part of the curriculum.
- Generally, institutes offering only engineering studies named their degree as B.tech.
- Some of the popular colleges are IITs, NITs, DTU etc.
Hello
Though BE and Btech looks very similar but there are a little differnces in the coarse material as well as their delivary methods, BE is Bachelor of Engineeing and B Tech is Bachelor of Technology, as the name indicates BE cocentrates more on the theory that is it depends on the data and the Btech is application dependent that is you will learn skills in Btech, both have a same values but in my view Btech is more valuable as you will lern skills and have a practical exposure there. All The Best.
Thank You
