Dear Aspirant,
I am assuming that you are asking about the difference between CAT and GATE. The former is COmmon Aptitutde Test and the latter is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.
CAT is an exam for admission into MBA programme at various colleges like IIM, FMS, Etc. It is a two year course in management for graduates in any stream.
GATE is an exam for admission in Mtech programme in various engineering colleges like IITs, NITs, etc. THis is two year post graduation programme in engineering.
Both the exams required one to be graduate, for cat there is no limit on graduation, for GATE the graduation has to be in the field of science like BTEch.
Hope this helps. THank you.
