- It was established through the merging of seven existing national government institutions.
- Its main objective was the design and support of a common national education system.
- Textbooks published by NCERT are prescribed by CBSE class I- XII
SCERT - state council of education, research & training
- Autonomous organization of govt of India talented on 5th Jan 1979.
- It was formed through the enhancement of the State Institute of Education.
- Its main agenda is to improve the standard of education in the state.
- It prescribes curricula & textbooks for school and teacher training institute. It also organizes and supervise working of teacher training college, secondary training college and elementary training college.
