As per your query the main difference between CSE and IT is that IT deals with the application of computing technology to real life processes whereas CSE deals with science that facilitates this application. There is no significant difference between CSE and IT. Both of these courses are similar till the 6th semister (THIRD YEAR) and then the syllabus changes from sixth semester. Basically CSE goes deep in C++. But the job opportunities for both CSE and IT are same.
