there is no any need for being this much specific in CSE. If he opts for CSE, he will study a variety of subjects and as well as will also be free to learn different specialization and build interests, it may be in data science, AI, big data analysis, research etc. if he genuinely develops interest into tech.

But if your specialization was in the artificial intelligence your subjects will be some what difference in semester than cse
