Hello Shahid

  • Doing B.Sc from an ICAR recognized university will fetch you the minimum eligibility for getting Agricultural Officer position in Government Departments (State and Central).
  • Doing B.Sc from a Non-ICAR recognized university (UGC recognized) is considered when you want to be a Horticulture Officer. All other positions and posts are available in this case, other than Agriculture Officer.
  • Doing B.Sc from a Non-ICAR recognized university is considered when you want to go outside the country for studying masters or doing work.
To sum up:-

If you are keen on pursuing a Government Job after Bachelors, then you must have the degree from an ICAR recognized university, otherwise private jobs and abroad studying is possible if you have the bachelors' degree from a Non-ICAR recognized university

I hope this helps you get the answer to your question. .

Good Luck!
