MD anaesthesia is a minimum 3 years long PG Course after 5.5 years of MBBS while MSc anesthesia  is 2- year long course pursued after a 3 years long Bsc degree. Entry barrier for MBBS or MD is very high but for getting admission in MSc anesthesia is comparatively very  easy and Last thing is after completion of MD anesthesia you can work as a Anesthesiologist while after MSc you can  work as a Anesthesiologist Assistant .

Hello Aspirant,

MD Anaesthesia is a 2 year postgraduate degree in medicine.M.Sc. in Anesthesia is a post graduate course in science and is a 2 year course.
This is course basically involves specialization in anesthesia which is very important in surgery, emergency wards and in Intensive Care Units.
Both are almost same but for doing MD you need to have competed MBBS degree.

I hope this helps
