what is difference between primary active transport and secondary active transport based on energy?

hello!
In primary active transport energy is utilized directly,in secondary active transport metabolic energy is not utilized directly,but transportation against the concentration gradient with another chemical that is transported down the concentration gradient created by primary transport utilizes energy.
