Semi-government colleges are half private and half government.They are known as society colleges as well (different from deemed one's)
These colleges are not directly run by government but under the control of government that is not government owned but government aided.
There are 3 types of seats to get admission on-Govt seat:The fees is same as a govt college seat.Payment seat:The fees is higher than that of govt. one's but lower than that of private or deemed colleges.Fees is probably between 3–7lakhs.NRI seat-For NRI students or students having NRI parents.Fees is around 15 lakhs
Facilities provided are better than govt. one's like infrastructure and hostel
It is in a way govt.college simply as the hospital attached to them are civil hospital in which the patient load is good and equal to as in a govt. College.
For eg- RAJASTHAN: Bhilwara,Pali, Dungarpur,Bharatpur, Churu,Jhalawar and Ruhs,jaipur medical colleges
For eg-GUJRAT: All the 8 GMERS colleges.
