Hello minalghate19 , Basically institutional or NRI quota in which seats are under the college for which is preferred to students not to management quota. Yes state quota is includes private medical colleges but there is no reservation for them in private colleges.
Hope it will be helpful for you :)
Hi Aspirant,
State Quota means some of the seats in the Private medical Colleges which are supposed to be filled by the candidates who holds that state domicile, where the college is located. Only that state domicile holder can get admission on those seats or under State Quota.
Whereas, Institutional/NRI Quota means seats held by the college/Institution itself. This seats include Management and NRI seats/quota. This seats are filled at Institute level means the desired candidate who wants admission in that particular College/Institute should visit college and then complete admission process by paying requisite fees.
College Comparison based on Courses, Placement, Rank, Fee
Dear Aspirant,
Admission through any medical college is based on two categories 15% All India quota and 85% state level quota. Through 15% All India Quota candidates can get government medical seat all over India and through state level quota the candidates of that particular state or candidates having that state's domicile can apply for the states government and private medical college.
For eg: If you have a domicile of Maharashtra then you can apply through state quota to get to get seat in government and private medical colleges in Maharashtra and even apply through All India quota to get seat in government colleges of other states.
Institutional/NRI quota means that there are limited number of seats reserved in every college which is filled on the certain eligibility criteria and yes ,private colleges are included in state quota.
Hope you got your answer.
Thank you
