What is difference between vocational courses and professional courses .

The difference between vocational courses and professional courses is that vocational courses are those types of courses that have practical skills where you learn the skills to develop expertise in a specific skill of your choice. They are also known as certificate level programs. In professional courses, you learn and graduate in a course having a qualification, e.g. B.Tech, B.Com etc. There is also a course called B.Voc or Bachelor of Vocational Education course that lets you to learn skills as well as qualification.

In general Vocational courses are diploma courses that provide a specific information to the student so that they can assist and serve certain services but the skills or the knowledge learned in vocational courses aren't very extensive and they have just the working knowledge and lesser theoretical knowledge like polytechnic courses etc.
In professional courses the course devote in a very extensive coursework which imparts both theoretical as well as practical knowledge and perfect managerial skills so that the student may perform as a individual in different sectors. Professional courses are degree courses like B.Tech , BBA/MBA etc.
