what is difference in marks btw EWS and general and sc qouta in NEET 2020 in andhra Pradesh state qouta also????
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Though cut offs are also determined by Category, it is difficult to predict the cut offs for NEET 2020 yet. We do not have 2019 data yet. But you must be aware of the fact that AP NEET Counselling is Categorised into AU, OU and SVU areas and you need to be a local to secure advantage of that area. Now AU and OU have considerably higher cut offs than those of SVU. EWS reservation was introduced in 2019 and because we do not have 2019 data, we cannot predict 2020 cut offs. But cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Difference in marks cannot be predicted but for a seat under General Category/EWS Category, you will need atleast 550 and above and for SC Category you will need atleast 450 and above.
Hi,
General means that you have no quota. EWS means that those students are belong to General category and have family income less than 8 lacs .
Than you are eligible for EWS.
SC quota only for Sc students which belong to schedule caste.
For both these quota you need the certificate which is issued by Government or near by teshil office.
For more detailed information regarding quota in neet. Kindly go through this link:

I hope it helps you.

Hello,
The EWS is a special category for economically weaker sections. This category gives you the benefit of quota regardless of any other quota. General category is the common category for all. SC category gets some extra benefit than General and OBC category like less cutoff. Now, Andhra Pradesh has its own home quota where students belonging to those states have reservations.
Hope this helps.
