what is different between flot ,freeze and slide option in josaa counseling?
Good Day aspirant...
Freeze- This means you've been assigned a seat and have accepted it, but you don't want to go through the rest of the counselling process. This category of students will complete their counselling procedure here, and they will just need to report to the designated institute to confirm their enrollment.
Float- It indicates you've been assigned a seat and have accepted it, but you'd prefer a different programme than the one you've been assigned. In this instance, after you are assigned a seat in the subsequent rounds, you will forfeit the seat you were previously assigned. And those options that are above the allotted programme in your filled choices list will be considered for float. As a result, it's critical to complete the form.
Slide- This signifies you've been offered a seat and have accepted it, but you're looking for a different course at the same institute as you were offered the prior programme. So it's nearly the same as the float option, only you'll be selecting options from the same institute. You'll lose the seat that was originally assigned to you in this situation as well.
I hope this information helps.
Regards.
