what is drop in the provisional answer key? does it mean bonus marks for that question or the question is been removed?

Hi,
A dropped question in an answer key usually implies that due to some error in the question itself, it stands null and is not a part of the paper. It would not be considered while grading answers. Do not confuse this with a bonus question. When a question is dropped, students are NOT awarded grace marks based on their attempt. It has an effect on the overall ranking.
